March 25, 2011A clip from the recently aired "Mad Genius" documentaries on Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie can be viewed below.
"Mad Genius" is a new Fuse TV music documentary series which looks into the minds of hugely successful pioneers in the music industry who have achieved the ultimate in fame and fortune, despite their demons and personal struggles.
Each half-hour episode of "Mad Genius" explores in detail the lives and stories of brilliant, yet often rebellious artists like Lil Wayne, Britney Spears and Corey Taylor, all of whose eccentric personalities have resulted in groundbreaking music. Through interviews with music executives, producers, friends, bandmates and other artists, each episode provides insight into how music's wayward sons and daughters' personalities and instinctual abilities contributed to their musical creations.
"'Mad Genius' looks past the sensational headlines and gossip to explore the vision and contributions of artists whose talent and creativity are often overshadowed by their personal lives," said Sal LoCurto, senior vice president of programming, Fuse. "Each episode offers a unique perspective about the various artists, which will be a great addition to Fuse's original programming slate, as well as another example of our commitment to bringing viewers closer to their favorite performers."
The series comes from Planet Grande Pictures, with John Watkin and Eamon Harrington as executive producers.
